Description
E36 M3 KW V2 Coil Overs:
Front Lowering Range: 30-60mm
Rear Lowering Range: 20-45mm
16-position adjustable Rebound damping
Rebound damping adjustment gives one more option over a traditional coil over. Rebound (aka bounce or extension) damping is after the shock has compressed and controls how quickly the suspension extends to return the tire to the road. Clicking to a softer range will give a more comfortable ride and stiffer settings will do the opposite. The sweet spot is when the tire doesn’t chatter or skip over bumps. This allows you to fine-tune the ride comfort for any street situation. The kit comes pre-set to a position determined by KW engineers for your particular vehicle.
KW has a strong reputation for delivering long-term reliability and performance due to their use of corrosion-resistant materials such as aluminum, stainless steel (“inox-line”), and composites. The dirt-resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar mean that you’ll always be able to quickly and easily adjust your ride height when needed, regardless of how many years or seasons they’ve been installed. Adjusting ride height is a simple task, with one-piece composite height adjusters on the front dampers and height adjusters sitting either above or below the rear springs. Variant 2 coilovers have only one damping adjustment but still set the benchmark for coil over design, quality, and performance.
Fitment Notes: KW Variant coil overs are installed with stock upper strut and shock mounts and hardware for an easy and straight-forward install. Depending on ride height setting and wheel/tire sizes wheel spacers may be required on the front wheels.
