PFC’s 08 compound has gained a well-earned following in endurance, sportscar, and GT racing due to its performance in applications where exceptional wear rates and smooth initial bite are a must. The 08 race pads have a slight friction rise as temperature increases, excellent release and modulation characteristics, and very low abraded disc wear. On top of the excellent overall performance, the 08 compound has the longest wear rate of all PFC pads.

The mission of Performance Friction is to provide the optimal pad compound for each application that they make. Rather than the “shotgun” method of developing every pad in every compound, PFC builds the correct pad to suit the venue it is designed for.

NOTE on Street Use – These are race and track-use pads. While they can be driven on the street, and many of our customers choose to drive to and from events with them, they are designed for ultimate track performance and their street manners may not meet everyone’s demands. If you are looking for a street-worthy race pad, these 08 compounds have the lowest wear rates and noise of the PFC race pads.

These pads will also fit the following models with optional M Sport Brembo brakes: 228i/228xi/230i/230xi, 328i/328xi/330i/330xi, 428i/428xi/430i/430xi, 335i/335xi/340i/340xi, and 435i/435xi/440i/440xi. You must have the optional M Sport S2NH brake package (with blue calipers).
